A Gamescom Latam anunciou os finalistas do gamescom latam BIG Festival 2026, premiação dedicada a jogos independentes que acontece dentro da programação do evento. A edição deste ano registrou recorde de inscrições, com 966 jogos enviados por desenvolvedores de 75 países.
Considerado um dos principais festivais de jogos indie do mundo, o BIG Festival selecionou 81 títulos finalistas, que serão exibidos ao público durante o evento e disputarão diversas categorias de premiação.
Recorde de inscrições e participação global
A edição de 2026 marca o maior alcance internacional já registrado pelo festival. Pela primeira vez, o BIG Festival recebeu inscrições de 75 países diferentes, ampliando significativamente sua presença global.
O Brasil lidera em número de participações, com 451 jogos inscritos. Outros países da América Latina somaram 87 projetos, reforçando a força da região na produção de jogos independentes.
No quadro universal:
- Américas: 608 jogos inscritos
- Europa: 197 projetos
- Participação de quatro continentes
O festival também registrou a estreia de novos países na competição, incluindo Ilhas Åland, Andorra, Brunei e Omã, ampliando ainda mais a variação geográfica da premiação.
América Latina tem potente presença entre finalistas
Entre os 81 jogos selecionados, 28 são da América Latina, com destaque para o Brasil, que conta com 15 títulos finalistas.
Outros países latino-americanos representados incluem Argentina, México, Colômbia, Costa Rica e Uruguai. Durante o evento, os finalistas terão seus jogos disponíveis para mostra ao público e também poderão apresentar seus projetos para investidores, publishers e outros profissionais da indústria.
Jogos com mais indicações no BIG Festival 2026
Alguns títulos se destacaram ao receber múltiplas indicações na premiação. Cinco jogos aparecem uma vez que os principais concorrentes desta edição, cada um com quatro indicações:
